Scenario: This dialogue conversation takes place between a Bank Officer and a client. The client wants to open a bank account.

1	Bank officer	Good afternoon. How can help you today.
	Translation	සුභ සන්ධ්යාවක්. අද ඔබට උදව් කරන්නේ කෙසේද.
	Client	සුබ සන්ධ්‍යාවක්, මට නව බැංකු ගිණුමක් විවෘත කිරීමට අවශ්‍යයි.
	Translation	Good afternoon, I need to open new bank account.
2	Bank officer	Can I know the type of account which you want to open. Is it a saving account or current account?
	Translation	ඔබට විවෘත කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය ගිණුම් වර්ගය මට දැන ගත හැකිද? එය ඉතිරිකිරීමේ ගිණුමක්ද ජංගම ගිණුමක්ද?
	Client	මට ඉතිරි කිරීමේ ගිණුමක් විවෘත කිරීමට අවශ්‍යයි.
	Translation	I need to open a saving account.
3	Bank officer	Fine, can you please fill this form. I need your original passport and a copy of your current Visa.
	Translation	හොඳයි, ඔබට කරුණාකර මෙම පෝරමය පුරවන්න. මට ඔබගේ මුල් ගමන් බලපත්‍රය සහ ඔබගේ වත්මන් වීසා බලපත්‍රයේ පිටපතක් අවශ්‍යයි.
	Client	මෙන්න මගේ විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්‍රය, මම මගේ වීසා පිටපතක් ගෙනාවේ නැහැ. මගේ වීසා බලපත්‍රයේ මෘදු පිටපතක් මා සතුව ඇත. මට ඔබට විද්‍යුත් තැපෑලකින් එවිය හැකිද?
	Translation	Here is my passport, I didn’t bring a copy of my visa. I have a soft copy of my visa. Can I send you by an email?
4	Bank officer	Ok, you can send by email. You can see my mail address in this card.
	Translation	හරි, ඔබට විද්‍යුත් තැපෑලෙන් යැවිය හැක. ඔබට මෙම කාඩ්පතෙහි මගේ තැපැල් ලිපිනය දැකිය හැක.
	Client	මම මගේ වීසා පිටපත ඔබේ ඊමේල් ලිපිනයට යැව්වා. කරුණාකර ඔබට පරීක්ෂා කළ හැකිද?
	Translation	I sent my visa copy to your email address. Can you please check.
5	Bank officer	Yes, I received. You are currently in temporary visa. We have specific saving account for temporary visa holders. Can I know the expected sources of funds for this saving account? Are you employed currently?
	Translation	ඔව්, මට ලැබුණා. ඔබ දැනට තාවකාලික වීසා බලපත්‍රයක සිටී. අපට තාවකාලික වීසා බලපත්‍රලාභීන් සඳහා විශේෂිත ඉතිරිකිරීමේ ගිණුමක් ඇත. මෙම ඉතිරිකිරීමේ ගිණුම සඳහා අපේක්ෂිත අරමුදල් මූලාශ්‍ර මට දැනගත හැකිද? ඔබ දැනට රැකියාවක නියුතුද?
	Client	I’m doing part time jobs. Because I’m not allowed to work for full time.
	Translation	මම අර්ධකාලීන රැකියා කරනවා. මොකද මට පූර්ණ කාලීන වැඩ කරන්න අවසර නැති නිසා.
6	Bank officer	How much the expected funds for a month?
	Translation	මාසයක් සඳහා අපේක්ෂිත අරමුදල් කොපමණද?
	Client	It will be around AUD 1000.
	Translation	එය AUD 1000 පමණ වනු ඇත.
7	Bank officer	Do you need a debit card for withdrawing cash?
	Translation	මුදල් ආපසු ගැනීම සඳහා හර කාඩ්පතක් අවශ්‍යද?
	Client	ඔව්, මට හර කාඩ්පතක් අවශ්‍යයි. ශාඛාවට යන්න කාලය ගත නොකර මුදල් ආපසු ගැනීම මට පහසු වනු ඇත.
	Translation	Yes, I need a debit card. It will be easy for me to withdraw cash without spending time for visiting branches.
8	Bank officer	There is a minimum balance of AUD 500 which you need to maintain, if you fail to maintain the balance, there will be a monthly charge of AUD 20.
	Translation	ඔබට නඩත්තු කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය අවම ශේෂය AUD 500ක් ඇත, ඔබ ශේෂය පවත්වා ගැනීමට අපොහොසත් වුවහොත්, මාසිකව AUD 20 ක ගාස්තුවක් අය කෙරේ.

	Translation	I can understand. I can maintain minimum balance. I need to use internet banking, do you have a mobile application for this account?
9	Bank officer	Yes, You can download our banking application. You need to fill this form to register with our online banking service.
	Translation	ඔව්, ඔබට අපගේ බැංකු යෙදුම බාගත කළ හැක. අපගේ මාර්ගගත බැංකු සේවාව සමඟ ලියාපදිංචි වීමට ඔබ මෙම පෝරමය පිරවිය යුතුය.
	Client	ඔබගේ මාර්ගගත බැංකු අයදුම්පත සඳහා යොමු කිරීමට ඔබට මාර්ගෝපදේශයක් තිබේද?
	Translation	Do you have a guide to refer for your online bank application?
10	Bank officer	You can refer our website and we have mentioned all required details there. You need to be careful when you are using online banking service. Because there are some recent incidents due to scammers.
	Translation	ඔබට අපගේ වෙබ් අඩවියට යොමු විය හැකි අතර අවශ්‍ය සියලුම විස්තර එහි සඳහන් කර ඇත. ඔබ අන්තර්ජාල බැංකු සේවාව භාවිතා කරන විට ප්‍රවේශම් විය යුතුය. මොකද වංචාකාරයෝ නිසා මෑතකදි වෙච්ච සිද්ධිත් තියෙනවා.
	Client	ඔයාට ස්තූතියි. මම ඔබේ වෙබ් අඩවිය බලන්නම්. මම පරිස්සම් වීමට වග බලා ගන්නෙමි.
	Translation	Thank you. I will see your website. I will ensure to be cautious.
11	Bank officer	It will take one working day to open the saving account and it will take another 3 days to issue the debit card. Where are you staying?
	Translation	ඉතිරි කිරීමේ ගිණුම විවෘත කිරීමට වැඩ කරන දිනයක් ගත වන අතර හර කාඩ්පත නිකුත් කිරීමට තවත් දින 3 ක් ගතවනු ඇත. ඔබ සිටින්නේ කොහේද?
	Client	මම පොලිස් ස්ථානය ආසන්නයේ නැවතී සිටිමි.
	Translation	I’m staying in near police station.
12	Bank officer	Ok, then It will be easy for you to visit the bank again once the debit card is ready for collection.
	Translation	හරි, හර කාඩ්පත එකතු කිරීමට සූදානම් වූ පසු නැවත බැංකුවට පැමිණීම ඔබට එය පහසු වනු ඇත.
	Client	ඔව්. මට එන්න පුළුවන්, ප්‍රශ්නයක් නෑ.
	Translation	Yes. I can come, no problem.
13	Bank officer	Do you want to know anything else?
	Translation	ඔබට වෙනත් යමක් දැන ගැනීමට අවශ්‍යද?
	Client	මට ගිණුම වසා දැමීමට අවශ්‍ය නම්, ගාස්තුවක් අය කරන්නේද? ගිණුම සක්‍රියව තබා ගැනීමට අවම කාල සීමාවක් තිබේද?
	Translation	If I need to close the account, is there any charge? Is there any minimum period to keep account active?
14	Bank officer	There is no charge for closing the bank account and you can close the account at any time, no minimum time period.
	Translation	බැංකු ගිණුම වසා දැමීම සඳහා කිසිදු ගාස්තුවක් අය නොකෙරේ, ඔබට ඕනෑම වේලාවක, අවම කාල සීමාවක් නොමැතිව ගිණුම වසා දැමිය හැක.
	Client	හොඳයි, කාරුණික සහයෝගයට ස්තූතියි.
	Translation	Good, thank you for kind support.
