Scenario: This dialogue conversation takes place between a representative from Pre-school enrolment team and Mrs. Perera, a mother who wants to enrol his son to pre-school.

The dialogue begins now.

1	School Representative	You must be Mrs. Perera, I understand that you are here to enroll your son to preschool.
	Translation	ඔයා මිසිස් පෙරේරා වෙන්න ඇති, මට තේරෙනවා ඔයා ඇවිත් ඉන්නේ ඔයාගේ පුතාව පෙරපාසලට දාන්න කියලා.
	Mother	ඔව්, මම මිසිස් පෙරේරා, මට මගේ පුතාව පෙරපාසලට ඇතුළත් කරන්න ඕන. කරුණාකර මට ක්‍රියා පටිපාටිය පැහැදිලි කරන්න.
	Translation	Yes, I’m Mrs. Perera, I need to get my son enrolled for preschool. Can you please explain me the procedure.
2	School Representative	You have to fill this form and hand over to us, then we can call you back
	Translation	ඔබ මෙම පෝරමය පුරවා අප වෙත භාර දිය යුතුය, එවිට අපට ඔබට නැවත ඇමතිය හැක
	Mother	මම ඉක්මනින්ම මෙම පෝරමය පුරවා ඉදිරිපත් කරන්නම්, මගේ පුතා පාසලට පැමිණීමට පටන් ගන්න පුළුවන්ද කවදාද?
	Translation	I will fill this form soon and submit, when can my son start to come to school?
3	School Representative	It is not easy to enrol your son to the school, we have a waiting list for this school. Currently, we have a high demand for this school.
	Translation	ඔබේ පුතා පාසලට ඇතුළත් කිරීම පහසු නැත, මෙම පාසල සඳහා පොරොත්තු ලේඛනයක් අපට තියෙනවා. දැනට මේ පාසලට අපේ ඉහළ ඉල්ලුමක් තියෙනවා.
	Mother	මගේ පුතා දැන් මාස 2කින් පෙර පාසල් ගියේ නැහැ, මොකද අපි මාස කිහිපයකට කලින් ඕස්ට්‍රේලියාවට ආවා, අපිට ගෙයක් හොයාගන්න ටිකක් කල් ගත කරන්න සිද්ධ වුණා. මට දැන් ඉක්මනට එයාට ඉස්කෝලයක් හොයාගන්න ඕන.
	Translation	My son is not going for preschool for 2 months now, because we came to Australia few months ago and I had to spent some time to find a house for us. I need to find a school for him urgently now.
4	School Representative	I can understand your situation, but we have similar parents like you, who is searching a preschool for their children. We have to keep a waiting list due to this reason.
	Translation	මට ඔබේ තත්වය තේරුම් ගත හැක, නමුත් තම දරුවන් සඳහා පෙර පාසලක් සොයමින් සිටින ඔබ වැනි සමාන දෙමාපියන් අපට සිටිති. මේ හේතුව නිසා අපට පොරොත්තු ලේඛනයක් තබා ගැනීමට සිදු වේ.
	Mother	මේ වන විට පොරොත්තු ලේඛනයේ සිසුන් කී දෙනෙක් සිටීදැයි මට දැන ගන්න පුළුවන්ද?
	Translation	Can I know how many students are in the waiting list by this time?
5	School Representative	Ok, let me check for you. We have 7 children waiting for the same class. You have to wait until we are finishing the enrolment with these children. However, if any of these children ask us to remove their name from the list, if they found some other school, your child can come to the priority.
	Translation	හරි, මට බලන්න දෙන්න. අපේ පන්තියේ ළමයි 7 දෙනෙක් ඉන්නවා. අපි මේ දරුවන් සමඟ බඳවා ගැනීම අවසන් කරන තුරු ඔබ බලා සිටිය යුතුයි. කෙසේ වෙතත්, මෙම දරුවන්ගෙන් කිසිවෙකු ලැයිස්තුවෙන් ඔවුන්ගේ නම ඉවත් කරන ලෙස අපෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියහොත්, ඔවුන් වෙනත් පාසලක් සොයා ගත්තේ නම්, ඔබේ දරුවාට ප්‍රමුඛතාවය ලැබෙනවා.
	Mother	කරුණාකර මගේ පුතාව ඇතුළත් කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වන කාලය මට දන්වන්න පුළුවන්ද? මාස ගානක් යයිද?
	Translation	Can you please let me know any expected time to enroll my son? Will it take months?
6	School Representative	I will not be able to give you an exact date, but I assume you may have to wait another one month. I suggest you to try for other pre-schools also while you are waiting our enrolment.
	Translation	මට ඔබට නිශ්චිත දිනයක් ලබා දෙන්න බැහැ, නමුත් ඔබට තවත් මාසයක් බලා සිටීමට සිදුවනු ඇතැයි මම හිතනවා. ඔබ අපගේ බඳවා ගැනීම් බලා සිටින අතරතුර වෙනත් පෙර පාසල් සඳහාද උත්සාහ කරන ලෙස මම ඔබට යෝජනා කරනව.
	Mother	තොරතුරු සඳහා ඔබට ස්තූතියි, මම මෙම පාසල සඳහා බලා සිටින අතරතුර වෙනත් පාසල් සෙවීමට උත්සාහ කරන්නම්. මගේ දරුවාට අවස්ථාවක් ලැබුණු විට ඔබ මට ඇමතුමක් දෙනවාද?
	Translation	Thank you for the information, I will try to search other schools while I’m waiting for this school. Are you giving me a call when there is an opportunity for my child.
7	School Representative	Our administration team will give you a call when they found an opportunity for your child.
	Translation	අපගේ පරිපාලන කණ්ඩායම ඔබේ දරුවාට අවස්ථාවක් සොයාගත් විට ඔබට ඇමතුමක් ලබා දෙයි.
	Mother	ස්තූතියි, මම දැන් යන්නම්.
	Translation	Thank you, I will leave now.
