Scenario: This dialogue conversation takes place between an employee and an officer in labor department, Mr. John. The employee wants to make a complain on unpaid wages.

The dialogue begins now.

1	Officer	Hello, Good Morning! My Name is John, how can I help you today?
	Translation	ආයුබෝවන්, සුභ උදෑසනක්! මගේ නම ජෝන්, අද මම ඔබට උදව් කරන්නේ කොහොමද?
	Employee	සුභ උදෑසනක්, ජෝන් මහත්මයා. මම මෙහි පැමිණියේ පසුගිය මාස දෙක තුළ මගේ රැකියා ස්ථානයෙන් වැටුප් නොලැබීම පිළිබඳව පැමිණිල්ලක් කිරීමටයි.
	Translation	Good Morning, Mr.John. I came here to make a complain on not receiving wages from my employer during last two months.
2	Officer	Sorry to hear that, Can I know what is your employer’s name?
	Translation	එය ඇසීමට කණගාටුයි, ඔබගේ සේවායෝජකයාගේ නම කුමක්දැයි මට ගන්න පුළුවන්ද?
	Employee	මම Star Service Limited කියන නිෂ්පාදන ආයතනයේ වැඩ කරනවා.
	Translation	I’m working in manufacturing company called Star Service Pvt Ltd.
3	Officer	Can you please give me more details. How long are you working with this company? Are you a full-time employee or a part time worker?
	Translation	කරුණාකර මට වැඩි විස්තර ලබා දෙන්න. ඔබ මෙම සමාගම සමඟ කොපමණ කාලයක් වැඩ කරනවාද? ඔබ පූර්ණ කාලීන හෝ අර්ධ කාලීන සේවකයෙක්ද?
	Employee	මම මීට මාස 6කට පෙර මෙම ආයතනයට සම්බන්ධ වූ අතර, ඔවුන් මුල් මාස 2 තුළ මට නියමිත වේලාවට වැටුප් ගෙවා, පසුව වැටුප් ගෙවීමට ප්‍රමාද විය. පහුගිය මාස දෙකේ පඩි මට දුන්නේ නෑ. මම ඔවුන් සමඟ පූර්ණ කාලීන සේවකයෙකු ලෙස වැඩ කරනවා.
	Translation	I joined with this company 6 months ago, they paid my salaries on time during first 2 months, after that there was always delay to pay salaries. They didn’t pay me last two months salaries. I’m working with them as a full-time employee.
4	Officer	Have you discussed this matter with your employer, and what was his response?
	Translation	ඔබ ඔබේ සේවායෝජකයා සමඟ මෙම කාරණය සාකච්ඡා කර තිබේද, ඔහුගේ ප්‍රතිචාරය කුමක්ද?
	Employee	ඔවුන් කිව්වෙ පෙර හිඟ සියලුම වැටුප් මාසයක කාලයක් තුළ ගෙවන බවයි. මට ඔවුන්ව විශ්වාස කරන්න බැහැ, ඔවුන් පසුගිය මාසයේ එකම දේ සඳහන් කළ නමුත් මට මගේ වැටුප ලැබුණේ නැ. මට පඩිය නැතුව වියදම් කළමනාකරණය කරගන්න හරිම අමාරුයි.
	Translation	They mentioned that all previous salaries will be paid within one month time. I can not believe them, they mentioned the same thing last month, but I didn’t receive my salary. It is very difficult to me to manage my expenses without my salary.
5	Officer	This is illegal, they are breaching Australian law.
	Translation	මෙය නීති විරෝධීයි, ඔවුන් ඕස්ට්‍රේලියානු නීතිය කඩ කරනවා.
	Employee	මෙය විසඳා ගැනීමට ඔබ මට උදව් කරන්නේ කොහොමද, මට ඉක්මනින් මගේ වැටුප් අවශ්‍යයි.
	Translation	How can you help me to resolve this, I need my salaries urgently.
6	Officer	I can understand your situation, we have handled similar cases earlier. So don’t worry.
	Translation	මට ඔබේ තත්වය තේරුම් ගත හැකිය, අපි මීට පෙරද එවැනිම අවස්ථා විසඳා තියෙනවා. ඒ නිසා කලබල වෙන්න එපා.
	Employee	ස්තූතියි, මෙය විසඳා ගැනීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය කුමක්ද, මගේ පැත්තෙන් යමක් කරන්න අවශ්‍ය දැයි මට දැන ගන්න පුළුවන්ද?
	Translation	Thank you, Can I know what is the process to resolve this, is anything required from my side?
7	Officer	We can assist you to resolve this issue, first we need to register your complain in our system, then we will start our investigations.
	Translation	මෙම ගැටලුව විසඳීමට අපට ඔබට සහාය වෙන්න පුළුවන්, පළමුව අපට ඔබේ පැමිණිල්ල අපගේ පද්ධතිය තුළ ලියාපදිංචි කළ යුතුය, පසුව අපි අපගේ විමර්ශන ආරම්භ කරනව.
	Employee	මේක ඇසීමට ඉක්මන් වැඩි බව මම දන්නවා, නමුත් මට මගේ වැටුප ලැබෙනු ඇතැයි අපේක්ෂා කළ හැක්කේ කවදාද?
	Translation	I know this is too early to ask, but when can I expect to receive my salary?
8	Officer	I cannot give you an exact date, You have to fill these forms and give me. Please ensure to provide all details accurately. We will call you once we make a progress.
	Translation	මට ඔබට නිශ්චිත දිනයක් ලබා දෙන්න බැහැ, ඔබ මෙම පෝරම පුරවා මට දෙන්න. කරුණාකර සියලු විස්තර නිවැරදිව සැපයීමට වග බලා ගන්න. අපි ප්‍රගතියක් ලබා ගත් පසු අපි ඔබට කතා කරන්නම්.
	Employee	ස්තූතියි, මම ඔබේ ඇමතුම එනතුරු බලා ඉන්නවා.
	Translation	Thank you, I’m waiting for your call.
