Scenario: This dialogue conversation takes place between super market sales representative and a client. The client wants to exchange a rice cooker which was purchased earlier.

1	Sales representative	Good morning, Madam. How can I help you today?
	Translation	සුභ උදෑසනක්, මහත්මිය. කොහොමද මම අද ඔබට උපකාර කළ හැක්කේ කෙසේද?
	Client	සුභ උදෑසනක්! මම මේ සහල් උදුන ගිය සතියේ මේ කඩෙන් ගත්තෙ. පළමු දින දෙක තුන තුළ උදුන හොඳින් වැඩ කලා. නමුත් උදුන දැන් රත් වේන් නැ. කරුණාකර ඔබට පරීක්ෂා කළ හැකිද?
	Translation	Good morning! I bought this rice cooker from this shop last week. The cooker worked fine during first two – three days. But Cooker is not heating now. Can you please check.
2	Sales representative	Sure. Do you have original invoice and warranty card received from us.
	Translation	නිසැකවම. අපෙන් ලැබුණු මුල් ඉන්වොයිසිය සහ වගකීම් කාඩ්පත ඔබ සතුව තියෙනවද?
	Client	ඔව්, කරුණාකර විනාඩියක් ඉන්න. එය මගේ බෑගයේ තියෙනවා; මම ඔයාට දෙන්නම්.
	Translation	Yes, please wait a minute. It is in my bag; I will give you.
3	Sales representative	Thank you!, Can you please keep the cooker on this table.

	Translation	Ok, This bulb was not illuminating. I think, some issue related to electricity supply.
4	Sales representative	Let me plug the cooker to electricity.
	Translation	මම උදුන විදුලියට සම්බන්ධ කරන්නම්.
	Client	ඔව්, කරුණාකර.
	Translation	Yes, please.
5	Sales representative	It seems, some issue related electricity supply to equipment. Is the cooker fallen down?
	Translation	පෙනෙන විදිහට, උපකරණයට විදුලිය සැපයීම සම්බන්ධ ගැටළුක් වගේ. කුකර් එක බිම වැටිලාද?
	Client	නෑ නෑ බිම වැටුනේ නෑ. එකපාරටම වැඩ කරන එක ඉබේම නැවතුනා.
	Translation	No no, it was not fallen down. It stopped working suddenly.
6	Sales representative	Ok, we have to send the cooker for repairing. It will take one to two weeks time.
	Translation	හරි, අපි කුකර් එක හදන්න යවන්න ඕනේ. එය සති එකක හෝ දෙකක කාලයක් ගතවනු ඇත.
	Client	මට මෙම උදුන අලුත්වැඩියා කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය නැ. මිල දී ගෙන සතියකට පසු, කුකර් වැඩ කිරීම නතර විය. මට නව උදුනක් අවශ්‍යයි, නැතහොත් මගේ ගෙවීම ආපසු ලබා ගැනීමට අවශ්‍යයි.
	Translation	I don’t want to get this cooker repaired. It is only one week time after buying, the cooker stopped working. I need a new cooker or I need to have refund of my payment.
7	Sales representative	We will not be able to refund your payment, this was mentioned under our refund and exchange policies in the invoice. You can exchange with another cooker.
	Translation	අපට ඔබේ ගෙවීම ආපසු ගෙවීමට නොහැකි වනු ඇත, මෙය ඉන්වොයිසියේ අපගේ මුදල් ආපසු ගෙවීමේ සහ හුවමාරු ප්‍රතිපත්ති යටතේ සඳහන් කර ඇත. ඔබට වෙනත් උදුනක් සමඟ හුවමාරු කළ හැකිය.

	Translation	This cooker stopped working suddenly during the weekend and I couldn’t come to your shop, because your shop is very far from my home. I had to buy another cooker from nearby shop. Therefore, I don’t need to exchange for another cooker. Can I exchange for microwave oven?
8	Sales representative	Please wait, I need to check with my manager.
	Translation	කරුණාකර ඉන්න, මට මගේ කළමනාකරුගෙන් අහන්න අවශ්‍යයි.
	Client	ඔව් කරුණාකර. මට ඉන්න පුළුවන්.
	Translation	Yes please. I can wait.
9	Sales representative	I checked with my manager. Fine, You can exchange for a microwave oven. We are not allowing to customers to exchange for other items. However, my manager approved as an exceptional case.
	Translation	මම මගේ කළමනාකරුගෙන් ඇහුවා. හොඳයි, ඔබට මයික්‍රෝවේව් උදුනක් සඳහා හුවමාරු කළ හැකිය. අපි පාරිභෝගිකයින්ට වෙනත් අයිතම සඳහා හුවමාරු කර ගැනීමට ඉඩ දෙන්නේ නැහැ. කෙසේ වෙතත්, මගේ කළමනාකරු සුවිශේෂී අවස්ථාවක් ලෙස අනුමත කළේය.

10	Sales representative	Please come with me, I will show you.

11	Sales representative	Yes, Madam. please see this one. This is a reputed brand, and it is 19 litre capacity. You will get 5% discount during this week.
	Translation	ඔව් නෝනා. කරුණාකර මෙය බලන්න. මෙය කීර්තිමත් සන්නාමයක් වන අතර එහි ධාරිතාව ලීටර් 19 කි. මෙම සතිය තුළ ඔබට 5% වට්ටමක් ලැබෙනවා.

	Translation	හරි, මම පරීක්ෂා කරන්නම්. ඔබ වාසනාවන්තයි, අපට එක් කළු උදුනක් තියෙනවද. මෙය විශාල ඉල්ලුමක් ඇති භාණ්ඩයකි.

	Translation	උඳුනේ මිල AUD 450/, ඔබ දැනටමත් සහල් උඳුන සඳහා AUD 400 ගෙවා ඇත. ඔබ ගෙවිය යුත්තේ AUD 50 ක් පමණි.

16	Sales representative	Your payment is done. This is the new invoice with warranty card.
	Translation	ඔබගේ ගෙවීම සිදු කර ඇත. වගකීම් කාඩ්පත සහිත නව ඉන්වොයිසිය මෙයයි.
	Client	ඔයාට ස්තූතියි! මම දැන් යන්නම්
